Kean Launches New Athletics Website 

UNION, N.J. (4/3/07) - Kean University, the third largest college or university in the state of New Jersey, announces the launch of a newly redesigned Department of Athletics and Recreation website, http://www.keanathletics.com/.  In conjunction with PrestoSports, a leader in athletic website solutions, Kean looks to provide the student-athletes a modernized website to help promote the successful programs at the University. 

Kean's Office of University Relations, Department of Athletics and PrestoSports worked together to redesign the site to bring a fresh look to publicizing the University's 18 varsity sports, as well as the recreation and intramural department and new athletic facilities on campus. 

"The newly redesigned website is an extension of all the improvements Kean University has made over the course of the last year within the department," said Director of Athletics Glenn Hedden.  "With all the upgrades we have made in our athletic facilities, the new site will help us continue to brand Kean athletics and the University."

Additional work will continue on the site to bring LiveStats of home sporting events, detailed student-athlete backgrounds and multimedia links.  The site will also feature sections for Athletic Training, Sports Information and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee in the coming months. 

The site is maintained by Kean University. Images and logos on the site are copyrighted and may not be reproduced without the expressed written consent of Kean University.
