Kean Athletes Among Honored at NJAC Awards Brunch

PRINCETON, N.J. (5/31/09) - The New Jersey Athletic Conference hosted its 10th Annual Awards Brunch at the Hyatt Regency Princeton on Sunday, May, 31, and 12 student-athletes, one head coach and one team from Kean University were recognized among the 132 individual honorees and 24 teams.

The Cougar baseball team had four student-athletes and Head Coach Neil Ioviero earn individual honors, while the team also won the NJAC regular-season title with a 15-3 conference record.

Football had three honorees and men's indoor track and field had one student-athlete honored.

Kean also had four student-athletes honored on the NJAC All-Academic Teams.
