Kean Releases Fall Sports Schedules

UNION, N.J. (6/28/07) - The Kean University Department of Athletics has released the 2007 fall schedules for field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer, tennis and volleyball. 

The Cougar football, men's soccer and field hockey squads open the 2007 fall campaign on Friday, August 31.  The football team hosts USMMA-Kings Point in non-conference action, with kick-off slated for 7 p.m., while the men's soccer team travels to Ohio Wesleyan University for the opening round of the Fred Myers Invitational.  The field hockey team travels to Vermont for a non-conference match-up with Castleton State College.

The opening weekend action continues on Saturday, September 1, as the women's soccer team hosts the Cougar Classic and the volleyball team hosts Polytechnic University of New York for a noon match.

Kean tennis hosts Rutgers-Newark on Saturday, September 8, in both the season and New Jersey Athletic Conference opener.  Match-time is set for noon.
