Kean Donates Canned Goods to Community FoodBank of NJ

UNION, N.J. (12/14/09) - The Kean University Department of Athletics recently collected more than 450 canned good items as part of the New Jersey Athletic Conference's Cans Around the Conference competition among the conference's 10 schools. 

Prior to the Thanksgiving holiday, Kean collected 456 cans that were donated to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey to finish third among the NJAC schools. 

Together, the NJAC schools collected 3,272 total canned goods, with Rowan collecting 976 cans and Rutgers-Camden gathering 814 cans.
