Kean University Cheerleading
The Kean University Cheerleading squad is comprised of student-athletes who are dedicated to supporting athletics and raising school spirit on campus. The Cougar Cheerleaders perform during football games and men's and women's home basketball games as well as a variety of other spirit orientated events.
To be a part of the cheerleading team you must:
- have some dance, cheer, or performance experience
- be a full-time student in good academic standing
- be committed to attending 4-6 hours of practice a week during season
- attend all home football and basketball games
• have a good attitude and be willing to work hard
