NCAA DIVISION III NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
Grand Chute, Wis. (5/29/07) - For the first time in the programs history and just its fifth appearance in the national tournament, the Kean Cougars (43-8) took home the biggest prize in Division III baseball with a 5-4, 10-inning victory over Emory University (43-10) on Tuesday afternoon at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium. Its the second NCAA national title in any sport for Kean.

Cougars Advance To World Series Championship Game; Defeat UW-Stevens Point, 7-4
Grand Chute, Wis. (5/27/07) - The Kean University baseball team has advanced to the World Series championship game as they won their third game of the tournament, defeating local University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, 7-4, Sunday night. With the win, Kean will play for their first-ever title on Tuesday, May 29th at noon local time against Emory University.

Ammirata Pinch Hit Sends Kean Past Cortland, 4-1 In 12 Innings
Grand Chute, Wis. (5/25/07) - Junior Eric Ammirata (Hamilton, N.J.) pinch hit in the top of the twelfth and chopped a two RBI base hit down the right field line to send Kean past Cortland State, 4-1 in the opening round of the NCAA Division III World Series. With the win, Kean will face Chapman for the fourth time this season on Saturday, May 26th at 8:45 p.m.

With the win the Cougars claim the 2007 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) regular season crown for just the second time in program history. The Cougars also won the regular season championship in 2005. Kean currently boasts a 14-3 NJAC record (29-6 overall), with one conference game remaining.
