BaseballFeneis Propels Kean In NJAC Tournament; Cougars Eliminate Ramapo, 17-2
With the win Kean (32-6) will move on in the winners bracket to face second seeded The College of New Jersey. That game will be played on Sunday, May 6th at 10 a.m. at the host, Riverfront Stadium in Newark, N.J. With the loss, Ramapo College (29-13) is eliminated from the tournament. Feneis allowed eight hits along with two earned runs while improving to 4-0. He also fanned nine and walked just one. The Cougars offense exploded for seven runs in the top of the fourth to take a 9-0 lead on their way to recording 16 hits in today's win.
Freshman Michael Murano (Brick, N.J.) suffered the loss for the Roadrunners. He (3-1) allowed eight runs, six earned, in three and a third innings. He allowed six hits while also striking out one and walking one.
