Baseball Opens "Home" Slate

Union, N.J. (2/27/08) - The defending national champions will get their "home" schedule under way this weekend, but a little further away than Union, N.J.  With the recent snowstorm delaying the final touches of the renovated Jim Hynes Stadium on campus, the Cougars will make a short trip down the NJ Turnpike to Rutgers University (New Brunswick, N.J.) to get things started.

Kean is scheduled to take on #9 Eastern Connecticut State University on Friday, February 29^th at 2 p.m. and battle with Manhattanville College on Sunday, March 2^nd in a seven and nine inning doubleheader, first pitch at 11:30 a.m.
