Bartlinski Tabbed NJAC Pitcher of the Week

Pitman, N.J. (3/10/08) - Sophomore pitcher Joe Bartlinski (South Amboy, N.J.) has been tabbed as the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Bartlinski earned the honor after earning two victories on the mound while striking out 24 in two starts during the week for the Cougars. He first allowed just five hits and two earned runs in seven innings of work while striking out 13 in Kean's 9-2 victory over No. 9 Eastern Connecticut. He wrapped up the week by surrendering just seven hits and one earned run in five innings of work while striking out 11 in an 8-2 win over Brockport State.

Bartlinski currently leads the NJAC in strikeouts (24).
