Kean Tabbed Top Seed in NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional
Indianapolis, Ind. (5/11/08) - The 54 team field has been selected for the 2008 NCAA Division III Tournament and Kean University has been selected as the top seed in the Mid-Atlantic Regional, slated to begin on Wednesday, May 14th as KU plays host at Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium in Newark, N.J.
The New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) is well represented as Rowan University, The College of New Jersey and Montclair State University have all been selected out of 14 possible Pool C candidates. The Cougars were one of 34 Pool A automatic qualifiers, after winning the NJAC Tournament last weekend.
Below is a list of the eight teams represented in the Mid-Atlantic Regional.
