Cirlincione Tabbed NJAC Pitcher of the Week

Pitman, N.J. (5/2/11) – Senior Chris Cirlincione has been selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Cirlincione becomes the third different Cougar to earn NJAC Pitcher of the Week honors after leading Kean to a key 6-5 NJAC road win at Rutgers-Newark. He allowed just two hits and no runs in seven innings of work to improve his record to 5-0 overall on the season. Cirlincione, who struck out eight in the victory over the Scarlet Raiders, currently ranks third in the NJAC in earned run average (1.14).
