Ioviero Named ABCA Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year

Ewing, N.J. (5/30/12) – Kean University head baseball coach Neil Ioviero has been selected as the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year.

This is the fourth time (2007, 2008, 2009, 2012) Ioviero earns the honor as he has coached the Cougars to nine NCAA regional tournament appearances as well as five regional championships.  With those five regional championships, the program has appeared in the finals, capturing the ultimate crown in 2007.

Ioviero currently has a 477-182-2 (.723) record in 15 seasons at Kean.
