Lewis France

Assistant Coach

Lewis France is entering his 13th season in the dugout for the Cougars as an assistant coach.

France, who played for the Cougars between 1994-97, has been assisting head coach Neil Ioviero for his entire tenure at Kean.  Prior to enrolling at Kean, France was a member of the United States Air Force Pararescue.  Pararescuemen, also called PJs, are the only members of the Department of Defense specifically organized, trained and equipped to conduct personnel recovery operations in hostile or denied areas as a primary mission.  France is currently employed as a New Jersey State parole officer.

France earned a Bachelor in Social Work degree at Kean in 1997 and his master's degree in Criminal Justice at New Jersey City University in 2001.
