Matt Scano enters his third season as an assistant with the Cougar Baseball program.

Scano was a pitcher for the Cougars during the 1998 and 2000 seasons and began coaching with KU in 2008.  When not on the field, Scano is a sales executive for RPM Insurance in Staten Island, N.Y.

Scano earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Kean in 2000.
