Baseball Claims 2008 NJAC Championship
Newark, N.J. (5/5/08) – Top seeded Kean University Cougars avenged two regular season losses and came out swinging, defeating second seeded Montclair State University, 12-4, in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship game.

(5/1/08) – Senior outfielder Derek Gianakas (Edison, N.J.) has been tabbed as the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Player of the Year, while teammate Brandon Aich (Sayreville, N.J.) has been selected as the Fireman of the Year as announced by the conference office on Thursday.
