Chunn Receives Weekly Honors

Pitman, N.J. (11/9/09) - Senior running back Jared Chunn (Tinton Falls, N.J.) has been tabbed as the NJAC Offensive Player of the Week as well as a member of the D3football.com Team of the Week following his performance in Kean's road win against William Paterson.

Chunn earns the weekly honors for the second time this season after leading the Cougars to a 20-0 NJAC road victory at William Paterson. In the win which improved Kean to 8-0 in conference, he collected a career-high 246 rushing yards on 37 carries, including touchdown runs of 4 and 19 yards apiece. His performance marked the most rushing yards by any league player in a game this season, and the fourth highest single-game rushing total in Kean program history.

Chunn currently leads the NJAC in rushing with an average of 114.6 yards per game.
