Hungerford Selected NJAC Defensive Player of the Week

Pitman, N.J. (9/24/17) – Senior Darin Hungerford has been tabbed as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Sunday.

Hungerford earns NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after helping the Cougars claim their first victory of the season - a 28-14 NJAC road win at Southern Virginia. He finished the contest with a game-high 14 tackles, including eight solo stops. He also registered 2.0 tackles for a loss in a defensive performance which saw Kean hold the Knights scoreless through the game's first 41 minutes.

Hungerford currently leads the NJAC in tackles (12.3 per game).
