Hungerford Garners NJAC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

Pitman, N.J. (10/1/17) – Senior Darin Hungerford has been named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week.

Hungerford earns the honor after registering the most solo tackles by an NJAC player in the game this season during Kean's 18-15 NJAC road defeat at Montclair State. He tallied 15 total tackles in the contest, including 13 stops, 2.0 tackles for a loss, and 2.0 sacks.

With his second 15-tackle game of the season, Hungerford has now produced the two highest single-game tackle totals this season. He currently leads the NJAC in total tackles (13.2 per game).
