Brown Selected NJAC Rookie of the Week
Pitman, N.J. (9/3/07) - Freshman Brandee Brown (South Plainfield, N.J.) earns New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Rookie of the Week honors in the first week of selections as announced by the conference office on Monday, September 2nd.
Brown earns the first NJAC Rookie of the Week selection after sparking the Cougars to a season-opening 3-0 road victory at Castleton State. In the first game of her collegiate career, she netted the game-winning goal for Kean. Her first collegiate goal off of a penalty corner in the 36th minute proved to be the game-winner. Brown currently ranks tied for sixth in the NJAC in goals per game (1.00).
