Brown Earns Rookie Honor For Second Time This Season

PITMAN, N.J. (9/24/07) - Freshman forward Brandee Brown (South Plainfield, N.J.) has been named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for the second this season.

In the first NJAC game of her career, Brown netted Kean's first goal of the game as the Cougars erased a 2-0 deficit before falling 3-2 to conference rival Montclair State.

This season, Brown has registered three goals for six points to rank third in goals and fourth in points.  Her selection marks the fourth straight week a Cougar has garnered the conference's rookie honor. 

The Cougars look to snap a two-game losing streak when they host Ramapo College in NJAC action at 7:30 p.m.
