Barry Selected NJAC Defensive Player of the Week

Pitman, N.J. (10/1/07) - Sophomore goalkeeper Jenni Barry (Berkeley Heights, N.J. ) has been selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday.

Barry earns NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after recording a pair of shutous in goal for the Cougars.

She first collected two saves in Kean's 4-0 NJAC shutout of conference rival Ramapo.  She wrapped up the week by notching three saves for her second consecutive shutout in a 2-0 non-conference road win at St. Vincent.

Barry currently leads the NJAC in both shutouts (4) and goals against average (0.81).
