Gibbs Tabbed Kean Athlete of the Week
Union, N.J. (10/9/07) - Sophomore Brittany Gibbs (West Deptford, N.J.) has been selected as the Kean University Athlete of the Week for her performance on October 3rd.
Gibbs, who currently leads the Cougars with eight goals this season, recorded two goals in Kean's victory at Richard Stockton College on October 3rd. With the win the Cougars improved to 2-1 in conference play. Gibbs also tallied a save as she was momentarily inserted into goal to stop a penalty stroke.
