Keller, Wright Earn All-NJAC Honors
PITMAN, N.J. (2/21/07) - Guards Bryan Keller (Piscataway, N.J.)
and Lamar Wright (Galloway, N.J.) were both named New Jersey
Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Honorable Mention All-Stars,
as announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Keller (left) became the 28th player in program history to score
1,000 career points, as he averaged 16.8 points a game to lead the
team and rank fourth in the NJAC. His 62 three-pointers are sixth
in single season history, and rank him third in the conference in
three point field goals made per game (2.48). The senior also ranks
second on the squad in assists (66) and third in steals (28) for
the season.
For his career, Keller ranks 21st in program history with 1,046
career points, while his 159 three-pointers are third in the career
record books.
Wright (right) finished second on the squad and sixth in the NJAC
in scoring (16.0 points per game). He also ranked third in the
conference in both free throw percentage (85-of-103, .825) and
three-point field goal percentage (36-of-96, .375), while ranking
fourth in steals (57/2.28 per game).
The Cougars finished the regular season, 13-12 overall and 4-9 in
the NJAC.
