Phoenix, Ariz. (12/27/07) - The Kean University men's basketball team fell to Linfield College (Ore.) in the Cactus Jam in Phoenix, Arizona by the final of 97-66.
The Wildcats surged to a 51-31 first half lead and that would be all they would need in the game to hold on to the win.
Senior Will Floyd (Eustis, Fla.) led the Cougars
(3-6) with 13 points in the game while also collecting four
rebounds. Freshman Keith Williams (Jersey City,
N.J.) had 10 points while freshmen Derrick McCord
(Jersey City, N.J.) pictured left and Akinwande
Oshodi (Florence, N.J.) each had seven in the loss.
Kean will face off against Wheaton College (Mass.) on Friday, December 28th, noon local time.
