Jones Tabbed NJAC Player of the
Week

Jones (Linden, N.J.) has been selected as the New Jersey
Athletic Conference (NJAC) Player of the Week for the second
consecutive week as announced by the conference office on Monday.
Jones earns NJAC honors for the second consecutive week after
averaging a double-double 20.5 points and 17.0 rebounds per game in
two contests played for the Cougars.
He opened the week with a double-double 21 points and 22
rebounds, while adding two steals in a 65-54 non-conference defeat
to Moravian. He wrapped up the week by producing his seventh
consecutive double-double, including 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting
from the field along with 12 rebounds, two assists, and two steals
in a 58-57 NJAC defeat to NJCU.
His 22 boards collected in the game against Moravian mark the
most rebounds in a single game by any Division III player this
season. Jones currently leads the NJAC in rebounding with an
average of 11.9 boards per game.
