Burton Earns NJAC All-Star Honors

PITMAN, N.J. (2/22/12) – Sophomore guard Michael Burton has been named a New Jersey Athletic Conference men’s basketball honorable mention all-star, as voted on by the league’s 10 head coaches and announced by the conference office on Wednesday morning.

Burton, the 2010-11 NJAC Rookie of the Year, started all 13 conference games and averaged 12.1 points per game.  He added 4.4 rebounds per game and led the team with 20 three-pointers.

Overall this season, Burton led the Cougars in scoring (12.2 points per game) and three-pointers (36), while adding 4.2 rebounds per game.
