Cougars Fall to Greensboro in Men's Lax, 14-6

Greensboro, N.C. (3/12/07) - Senior attack Steve Gill (Patchogue, N.Y.) scored two goals and added an assist, however the Kean University men's lacrosse team fell to Greensboro College, 14-6, on Monday afternoon.

Leading 6-2 at halftime, Greensboro netted six goals in the third quarter to build a 12-3 advantage after three periods.

Junior attack Dan Mondino (Boonton, N.J.), senior midfielder Chris Benz (Allendale, N.J.), sophomore midfielder Chris DeCarlo (Sandy, Utah) and sophomore midfielder Josh Morales (Clifton, N.J.) each scored one goal.

In the net, junior goalkeeper Dave Nichols (Florham Park, N.J.) made nine saves.

The Cougars return to action on Tuesday, March 20, when they host College of Mount Saint Vincent at 7 p.m.
