Men's Lacrosse Earns Bid to ECAC Tourney

CAPE COD, Mass. (5/7/07) - The Kean University men's lacrosse team earned a bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference Metro Region Championships for the second straight season after finishing the regular season 11-5 overall and qualifying for the Skyline Conference tournament.

 The fourth-seeded Cougars face top-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology for the third time this season in the opening round on Friday, May 11, at 7 p.m. in Hoboken, N.J.

 In the other semifinal match-up, second-seeded Montclair State University hosts third-seeded Drew University at the same time.

The winners face-off for the ECAC title on Sunday, May 13, at the highest remaining seed.
