Men's Lacrosse Earns ECAC Bid

Centerville, Mass. (5/4/09) - The Kean University men's lacrosse team has earned an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) bid for the third time in four years, this year as the fourth seed in the upcoming Division III Metro Tournament, slated to begin on Friday, May 8^th.

The Cougars (12-7) will take on #1 Stevens Institute of Technology (10-6) on Friday, May 8^th at 7 p.m.  Second seeded Wesley College (11-5) will travel to take on third seeded Drew University (8-7).

Kean has recorded double-digit wins in each of the past four seasons, all of which have sent them into post-season play, including last season as the Cougars earned a berth into the NCAA Tournament with the Skyline Conference Championship.

The winners advance to the ECAC Division III Metro Championship on Sunday, May 10^th.
