Sieb Makes Nine Saves as Men’s Lacrosse Falls to Colorado College

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (3/16/18)- Ryan Sieb made nine saves as the Kean University Men's Lacrosse team fell to Colorado College, 21-2 on Friday afternoon.

Robbie Stern finished with seven points on five goals and two assists for the Tigers who improve to 6-1 overall.  Jake Frankovits and Tyler Roberto each netted a goal for the Cougars who fall to 3-2 overall.

Kean trailed 3-0 before Frankovits and Roberto scored back-to-back goals to cut the Tigers lead to 3-2 with 9:01 remaining in the first quarter.

Colorado continued to rack up the goals by closing the contest with 18 unanswered, including four from Stern and three from Coby Petau.

Tyler Foss and Tom Kelly also tallied a point as Foss assisted on Roberto's goal and Kelly assisted on Frankovits' score. Foss added two groundballs, while Matt Palmieri collected three groundballs and one caused turnover. Greg Castor, Max McNicholas, and Greg Iannone each scooped up two groundballs.

Head Coach Shelley Sheiner and the Cougars will return to action on Tues. Mar. 20th, hosting the Yeoman of Oberlin College at 7:00 p.m.
