Men's Lacrosse Coasts in 14-2 Win Over Elmira

Union, N.J. (3/28/18) – The Kean University men's lacrosse team cruised to a 14-2 win over Elmira College on Wednesday evening.

The Cougars (6-2) had nine different players score in the action as Andrew Yenesel led the team with three goals while adding three groundballs.

Kean scored the first eight goals of the contest spanning into the second quarter.  Elmira (0-5) broke up the shutout with back-to-back goals, the first from Jake Zlinksy and the other from Seth Amstein.

The Cougars held a 9-2 halftime lead and paced the offense for the final 30 minutes in the win.

Tom Kelly registered two goals and two assists while Tyler Roberto added two goals.

Thomas Francy earned the decision in net.  He posted seven saves on the night.
