Cougars Selected to ECAC Men's Soccer Metro Tournament

Cape Cod, Mass. (11/6/06) - The Kean University men's soccer team was selected as the #4 seed in the upcoming Eastern College Athletic Conference Metro Region tournament as announced by the ECAC on Monday afternoon.

After finishing fourth in the New Jersey Athletic Conference during the regular season, the Cougars advanced to the semifinals, where they fell to top-seed and eventual champion, Montclair State University, 3-0.

Currently 9-7-5, the Cougars host #5 seed Drew University in the opening round of the eight-team ECAC tournament, on Wednesday, November 8, at 7:30 p.m., in Alumni Stadium.
