Men's Soccer Blanks Hope, 1-0
Delaware, Ohio (8/31/07) - The Kean University men's soccer team opened the 2007 season with a 1-0 victory over Hope College in the Fred Myers Invitational held at Ohio Wesleyan University on Friday evening.
Kean, who edged Hope in shots, 15-14, had their lone goal of the game near the 27 minute mark as senior Anthony Tuesta (Clifton, N.J.) took a pass from senior Konrad Kruczek (Clifton, N.J.) inside the left post.
Senior Kyle Crego (Ocean City, N.J.) recorded the
shutout with just one save on the evening.
Kean will square off against host Ohio Wesleyan University in the championship game on Saturday, September 1st at 7:30 p.m.
