Men's Soccer Blanks Gallaudet, 8-0

Newark, N.J. (9/13/09) - Freshman Kharee Winslow (Piscataway, N.J.) posted his first hat trick of the season as the Kean University men's soccer team rolled to an 8-0 shutout over Gallaudet University.

The shutout, the fourth of the season for the Cougars, helps to improve their record to 4-1-1.

Winslow posted his hat-trick, all within the first 19 minutes of action, helping Kean to a 5-0 lead at the break. Freshman Tiago Goetzke (Curitiba, Brazil), a member of the All-Classic team, added two goals and an assist of his own in the second period to aid in the win.

Gallaudet (0-5) did not register a shot in the match.

Freshman Daniel Favorito (Curitiba, Brazil) was also tabbed to the All-Classic team.
