Men's Soccer Falls to York (Pa.), 3-0

York, Pa. (9/16/09) - The York College (Pa.) Spartans needed just under three minutes to score what would be the game-winning goal as they defeated the Kean University men's soccer team, 3-0, Wednesday afternoon.

The Spartans (4-0-1) scored two goals on free kicks in the first 14 minutes of action and netted the final goal of the match in the 83^rd minute.

York held a slim 9-8 advantage in shots, while Kean (4-2-1) held a 7-4 advantage in corner opportunities.

Keeper Alfredo Oquendo (North Plainfield, N.J.) made three saves.
