Men's Volleyball Falls to #2 Stevens

Union, N.J. (1/27/18) – The Kean University men's volleyball team suffered their first defeat of the season to #2 Stevens Institute of Technology in straight sets in the Clash at Kean on Saturday morning.

David Lehman led all players with 13 kills (.706%), four blocks and 15.5 points for the Ducks (5-2).  Jared Warner led Kean with eight kills (.500%).

The Cougars took control early in set one and led by four on several occasions.  The Ducks turned the page and rode the arm of Jack Bittker and tied the game with the first of three aces in a 5-0 run were they took the lead for good. 

Stevens led wire-to-wire in the second set hitting .571 as a unit with five blocks.

The Cougars led early and once down in set three would battle to as close two on several occasions but the Ducks pulled away with the straight set win.

Jacob Milnazik had seven kills while Ian Capp registered 23 assists.
