Langhorne, Pa. (2/16/18) – The Kean University men's volleyball team picked up two straight set wins on Friday afternoon over Cairn University and York College (N.Y.).
Kean 3, Cairn 0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-19)
Kean never trailed in all three sets and were tied just twice in the win.
Kean 3, York 0 (25-3, 25-3, 25-8)
The Cougars powered past the Cardinals in the nightcap. Ian Capp set a new program standard with nine service aces. In the first set behind Capp Kean pushed out to a 17-0 lead. York was able to net the first point in sets two and three, but the Cougars controlled the pace and cruised to the win.
Seventeen players saw action in the matchup. Buseski recorded four kills on four attempts while Steven Zarzycki added two kills on two attemps and four aces.
In total, Kean collected 21 aces in the matchup.
The Cougars are right back at it with two matches on Saturday when they travel to Neumann University.
