Pedro Trevino joins the Cougar men’s volleyball staff in their inaugural season as a varsity sport. 

Trevino is no stranger to the sport with experience as both a player and coach.  A four year starter at New Jersey Institute of Technology, Trevino left the program as the all-time assists leader.  During his last three seasons, he ranked in the top 15 in the nation in assists per game.  Trevino has stepped onto the sidelines and has been working as both an assistant and head coach in the middle school and high schools ranks over the past four years.

He works full time for Merck/Shering Plough Research Institute in nearby Summit, New Jersey and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from NJIT in 2001.  Trevino is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in pharmaceutical engineering also from NJIT.
