Softball Earns Sixth Seed in Upcoming ECAC Tourney

CAPE COD, Mass. (5/8/07) - The Kean University softball team earned a bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference South Region Championship Tournament for the second straight season.  The Cougars earned the sixth seed after finishing the regular season with a 21-13 mark. 

The Cougars face third-seed Washington and Jefferson College on Saturday, May 12, at Noon, at La Roche College in Pittsburgh, Pa.  With a victory in the play-in game, the Cougars would then face host La Roche at 5 p.m.

The tournament concludes on Sunday, May 13, with play beginning at 10 a.m.
