Smyth Selected NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week

Pitman, N.J. (3/4/08) - Freshman pitcher Courtney Smyth (Abington, Pa.) has been tabbed as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Smyth pitched a one-hitter in her intercollegiate debut, striking out six batters while allowing just one unearned run and two walks against Bates College.
