Staggers Named NJAC Field Athlete of the Week 

PITMAN, N.J. (4/30/07) - Sophomore Jason Staggers (Jackson, N.J.) has been named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Male Field Athlete of the Week following a strong showing at the Lions' Invitational over the weekend.

He was the top Division III finisher in both the long and triple jumps, as he placed third in the long jump (6.70 meters) and fourth in the triple jump (12.54 meters).  He also added a 10^th place finish in his first open 400-meter dash of the season, crossing the line in 52.17 seconds.

Staggers competes at the NJAC Track and Field Championships on Saturday, May 5, with the rest of the team at The College of New Jersey.
