Lucas Named Kean Athlete of the Week

UNION, N.J. (2/1/10) - Sophomore Aaron Lucas (Union, N.J.) has been named a Kean University Athlete of the Week after placing third and qualifying for the Eastern College Athletic Conference Indoor Championships in a pair of events at the Thomson Invitational at University of Delaware on Saturday.

In the high jump, Lucas cleared a season best 1.93 meters to finish third among the 14 Division II and III competitors.

Lucas had a jump of 6.77 meters to also surpass the ECAC qualifying standard for the second time this season, placing third among 22 jumpers.
