Patrick Tabbed NJAC Rookie of the Week

Pitman, N.J. (1/7/08) - Rookie Tiffany Patrick (Piscataway, N.J.) was tabbed the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week after her performance at the Legg Mason Winter Classic this past weekend at Villa Julie College.

Patrick earns the honor for the third consecutive week after averaging a double-double during the Cougars' two victories this weekend. She first posted 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field, while adding seven rebounds and three steals in a 106-52 opening round victory over Penn State-Berks. She then helped Kean clinch the tournament title with eight points and a career-high 13 rebounds along with four steals in a 72-45 title game win over host Villa Julie.

In eight contests played for Kean on the season, Patrick is averaging 10.3 points per game.
