Cooper Named NJAC Player of the Week

Chari' Cooper (Paulsboro, N.J.) earned New Jersey
Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors for the second time
this season after averaging a double-double with 18.5 points and
15.5 rebounds in a pair of conference victories for the Cougars
last week.
She opened the week by becoming the 15th player in program
history to eclipse the 1,000 career points mark with 18 points on
8-of-11 shooting from the field, while adding 16 rebounds and five
assists in a 93-45 NJAC road win at Rutgers-Camden.
She wrapped up the week by notching 19 points on 8-of-12
shooting from the field, while adding 15 rebounds and three assists
in a 94-48 league win over NJCU. Cooper, who is just one of three
players in Kean history to tally both 1,000 career points and
rebounds, currently leads the NJAC in rebounding with an average of
15.3 boards per game.
