Patrick Selected NJAC Rookie of the Week

Pitman, N.J. (2/4/08) - Freshman forward Tiffany Patrick (Piscataway, N.J.) was tabbed the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Patrick earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the fifth time this season and the second consecutive week after averaging 13.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in a pair of conference victories for the Cougars.

She first tallied eight points, nine rebounds, and four steals in Kean's 89-64 NJAC win over Rowan. She wrapped up the week by posting a career-high 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field, while adding eight rebounds and two steals in the Cougars' 14th consecutive win, a 91-36 NJAC road victory at Ramapo.

Patrick, who shot .625 (10-of-16) from the field in the two wins combined, currently ranks second in the NJAC in field goal percentage (.590).
