Patrick Earns NJAC Rookie Honor

PITMAN, N.J. (12/24/07) - Freshman forward Tiffany Patrick (Piscataway, N.J.) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week after nearly recording a double-double in Kean's 82-65 win over University of Scranton last week.

Patrick, who was one of five players in double-figures for Kean in the game, finished with 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the floor and added eight rebounds, as the Cougars handed Scranton its second-straight home loss for the first time since 1995.

The rookie, who missed four games with an injury, is averaging 10.3 points per game in four games this season.
