Patrick Earns Rookie Honor for Second Straight Week

PITMAN, N.J. (12/31/07) - For the second straight week, freshman forward Tiffany Patrick (Piscataway, N.J.) has been named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week after helping lead the Kean University women's basketball team to the Sunsational Hoops Classic Championship in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. 

In the championship game against Cabrini College, Patrick hit 6-of-8 shots from the floor to score 15 points in Kean's 81-55 victory.

For the weekend, Patrick averaged 9.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in the two games.

Patrick has scored in double-figures in four of the six games she has played in this season and currently ranks fifth on the team in scoring, averaging 10.0 points per game.
