Women’s Basketball Slotted Third in NJAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll

PITMAN, N.J. (11/14/17) - The Kean University women's basketball team has been slotted third in the NJAC preseason coaches' poll.

Last season, the Cougars went 16-10 overall with a 13-5 record in the NJAC. Kean lead the conference in assists and rebounds as they earned a #2 seed in the NJAC Tournament. Junior Marajiah Bacon earned her second-straight All-NJAC first team selection after leading the conference in scoring at 22.5.

Head Coach Mandy King and the Cougars will open the 2017-18 campaign tomorrow, Wednesday Nov. 15th, hosting the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College at 6:00 p.m.
