Women's Basketball

Leigh Vogtman steps onto the sidelines for her first season at Kean.   No stranger to the Cougars, Vogtman was a member of the women's basketball team from 1997-2002 under current head coach Michele Sharp.

Vogtman, a member of the 2002 New Jersey Athletic Conference championship team, was a four year starter for the Cougars while also earning team MVP honors in her sophomore and senior campaigns.

Off the court, Vogtman is a physical education and health teacher at Monroe Township High School, where she has been employed in the school district since 2003.  From 2003-2005, Vogtman coached the girls middle school soccer team as well as girls basketball team before moving to the high school level as the girls basketball coach in 2005.

Vogtman earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from Kean University in 2003.
