Buono, Green Earn Skyline Honors

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (5/8/07) - Senior attack Giovanna Buono (Plainsboro, N.J.) was tabbed a Skyline Conference First-Team all-star in women's lacrosse, and junior defender Alli Green (West Deptford, N.J.) earned second-team honors, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.

A two-time first-team attack, Buono led the team in both goals (56) and points (72), to rank first and second in the conference, respectively.  The three-year starter concluded her career ranked second in both career goals (159) and points (178) in just 38 career games.

Green earns all-conference honors for the first time in women's lacrosse after ranking third on the team in groundballs and finishing with six goals and four assists.  Green, who started all 14 games this season, was also a New Jersey Athletic Conference honorable mention field hockey selection this past fall.

The Cougars finished the season with a 6-8 overall mark.
